LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST

L. A. Liberty was a caller at Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Tonn were callers in Abbotsford Wednesday.

The Misses Mary Smiley and Eleanor Green returned home Friday evening from Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Honstad and family of Stanley spent Sunday at the Fred Ostenson home.

Mrs. Emil Fitlaff and baby are visiting this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hrunek.

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Gehrke and family visited relatives at Manawa Sunday. Valda remained for a longer visit.

The Sunday School held their annual picnic at Sacketts Lake Wednesday and they all seemed to enjoy themselves.

Mr. Louis Lulloff who has been very ill is reported to be improving in health, which is good news to his many friends.

The Helping Hand Society will meet Friday afternoon June 29th at the home of Mrs. E. A. Hawks. All members invited.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Schorer and son Norman and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson visited Thursday evening at the Jacob Johnson home.

There will be a married folks dance at Edwards Hall Saturday evening June 30th. Everybody turn out and have a good time.

Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Stanfield of Clarksville, Ohio drove up last week and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green and other relatives.

Mrs. Fred Machlett and sisters, Mrs. Harry Randall of Owen and Mrs. H. Bailey and daughter of Bell, Cal., left Thursday morning for Cleveland, Ohio, where they will visit relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick returned Sunday from a visit with relatives in the northern part of the state. They left again Tuesday to visit relatives at Oxford and Montello.

Walter Jackson was a caller in Curtiss Tuesday calling on this trade. Mr. Jackson handles the Northern Reel and Wisconsin Cigars which are both very good and Walt sure supplies the trade.
