Kuhn, Judy Mae (Marriage - 29 August 1970)
Miss Judy Mae Kuhn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard H. Kuhn of Rt. 1
Neillsville, was united in marriage to Paul G. Groskreutz, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Arden Groskreutz of Oshkosh, August 29, at a 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony
performed by the Rev. Clarence Koepsell at Grace Lutheran Church, Oshkosh.
The bride wore a floor-length gown of venise lace, with long bishop sleeves.
Venise lace appliqués defined the scoop neckline and the empire waist. The gown
was seen through a cage back, draped from the back neckline, with a full
skirt-over-taffeta sheath. She wore a three-tiered, elbow-length veil that was
held by a crown of pearl tips surrounded by a plateau of petals, and carried a
Bible bouquet of carnations and stephanotis accented with yellow, pink and blue
ribbons to match the attendants’ gowns.
Mrs. Donald Jepson was
matron-of-honor. She wore a maize chiffon gown and carried a Renaissance arm
bouquet of white carnations with a yellow ribbon. Miss Mildred Kuhn, a
bridesmaid, wore a pink dotted Swiss gown and carried blue carnations with a
blue ribbon; Miss Linda Groskreutz, another bridesmaid, wore a blue French linen
gown and carried a similar bouquet of pink.
Ronald Groskreutz was
bestman. Jim Groskreutz and Jim Kuhn were groomsmen. Ken Kuhn and Larry Krammer
were ushers.
A reception and wedding dance were held in Oshkosh.
The bride is a graduate of a beautician school in Eau Claire and is employed in
Oshkosh. The groom attended Wisconsin State University-Oshkosh and is a
landscape contractor. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the newlyweds will
make their home at 336 W. 15th Ave., Oshkosh.
