Mrs. Ella Eggett was a Friday caller.

Prof. D. L. Hennessey, C. R. Hilton, R. E. Brazier, E. T. Stow and W. H. Hilton were visitors from Loyal last week.

Harry Darling returned home from Madison last week.

Rudolph Knoop slipped on the side walk last Thursday evening while returning from the dance and bumped his head on the side walk so hard that he became unconscious. He was carried to Dr. Lacey’s office and soon recovered. He is alright now—just a little dizzy at times.

Rolla Mead of Fairchild was in the city Friday.

May McNamera returned home from Spencer Friday, where she as been teaching.

W. C. Jones, Ralph Jones and Antony Yana of Muscoda, Wis., were land hunters registered at the Merchants Saturday.

District Attorney Reichenbech of Black River Falls was a "legal" caller in town Friday.

Mabel Frazier of Chili attended the dance here Thursday evening.

D. V. Richardson of Loyal called on the people here Friday.

Gus Deutsch of Chili came home to spend Sunday with friends and parents.

H. A. Bright and wife of Black River Falls were callers in town Saturday.

Rev. Frank went to Stevens Point on business last week.

Frank Harding was examined last week for admission to the Mendota Hospital.

Mrs. Ostrander went to St. Paul on Wednesday.

The special train bearing the injured parties of this city, who were victims of the wreck near Curtiss, arrived here about 10 o’clock Wednesday evening. They were Mr. and Mrs. Rogerson, Mr. and Mrs. Warner and their daughter. Mr. Rogerson was injured the most seriously—his head being cut and collar bone broken. Mr. Warner also had a rib broken. The rest were jarred up but not badly hurt.

Dr. Barber of Chili was in the city on business last week.

John Judge of Augusta called in the city last week.

Two more doctors for Neillsville. Drs. Frank and Hawley of Milwaukee have rented temporary rooms over Jesse Lowe’s market. They will occupy rooms over the post office as soon as they are vacated.

Burt James came down from Abbottsford Wednesday evening on the special—he has a good position running a lunch counter.

Mr. Joe Dillman has come down with the prevailing disease of stomach trouble.

Leslie Pitcher was called home from Chicago last week to see his father, who was fast passing away.

D. J. Kinney of Loyal, registered at the Merchants Friday.

Mr. Stockwell returned home Friday after a short visit.

Mr. Shoop is quite ill.

Archie Carter of Humbird, attended the dance here the 22nd.

Chas. Servaty came down from camp Saturday. Woods agree with him.

Judge Jacques is around again.

Fred Reitz came down from Abbotsford Monday to attend the funeral of Dr. Pitcher.
