HAPPENINGS IN OUR VILLAGE

Miss Minnie Thompson left Saturday evening for Chippewa Falls after spending the week end at her home here.

C. H. Ravy and daughters of Unity were Curtiss visitors Saturday.

Henry Wenzel of Yuba spent a few days visiting friends in Curtiss last week.

Bob Ingersoll of Abbotsford visited Friday at the Francis Tuttle home.

Frank Stanfield arrived Saturday for a visit at the home of his sister, Mr. B. B. Green. He has been visiting relatives in Ohio and is on his way to his home at Gull Lake, Canada.

Miss Alma Thompson arrived home Thursday from Abbotsford to spend her Easter vacation.

Miss Esther Theime, who is employed in Owen spent the week end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Theime.

Stacy Green came Thursday from Ashland to spend a week at this home.

Remember the dance to be given at Curtiss Saturday evening, April 10th, with the music furnished by the "Venetian Troubadours" of Owen. Come and have a good time.

Harold Matthias of Butternut visited this week at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Matthias.

Miss Thea Thompson, who teachers at Beloit left for that place after spending the week end at the home of her sister, Mrs. F.H. Matthias.

Miss Ruth Ingersoll, spent Tuesday at Curtiss helping out at Hoff’s store while Mr. Hoff was busy as clerk at the village election.

Miss Edith Green spent Monday evening at the F. W. Laabs home.

A few Curtiss folks attended the Easter Dance at Colby, Monday evening.

Otto Kind of Stetsonville was a Curtiss caller Tuesday. Mr. Kind expects to move his family to our village in a few days and he will be employed here.

A very important thing going on now is spring clothes.

Maurice Thompson and Geo. Rogers of Abbotsford were callers in Curtiss Monday on business.
