Prior, Emma (15 AUG 1943)

In the presence of a few relatives and friends, Miss Emma Prior became the bride of Charles Taylor at a ceremony performed Sunday afternoon at the home of the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Prior. The services were read by the Rev. M. E. Taylor, brother of the groom. The couple was unattended. Previous to the entrance, Mrs. Calvin Prior sang "The Lord Is My Shepherd.

The bride wore a jacket dress of navy blue with white revers. She has been a resident of Loyal for most of her life, and her friendly, thoughtful ways has won many friends. The groom, who came here to live with the parsonage family when his brother was sent as pastor of the Methodist church, has won the respect of his acquaintances here.

The wedding supper following the ceremony Mrs. J. R. Steiner and Miss Helen Castner served. The tables were appropriately decorated.

That evening Mr. and Mrs. Taylor left for a short trip and will be at home to their friends after Sept. 1 at the former home of the bride.

Those from away who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith and daughters and Mrs. Mabel Faulks of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Giese of Elkhorn and Dr. and Mrs. B. P. Ingersoll of Adams.

To those of their other friends the Tribune adds its best wishes.
