Viola Slover worked in the store for G.H. Palms Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mammie Palms, viola Slover and W.E. Palms spent the evening with Emma Furlong on Wednesday.

Squire Palms of Hudson came Wednesday to see his brothers, J.M. and G.H. Palms.

W.E. Church is thinking of going to Montana in the spring.

George Bedell is expected home for the holidays.

W.E. Palms drove to Neillsville Friday.

Viola Slover visited Friday with her uncle, S. Loy and family at Weston.

The society met Saturday night at the home of C.J. Bigelow, and will be known hereafter as the Copper Club. Most fun of the evening was lighting a candle, then placing someone in front of it and blindfold them, then take three steps back, turn three times around, and advance three steps and blow out the light; there was a box of candy given to the one that blew out the light the most times out of five; there was a tie between W.E. Palms and Viola Slover, and at last Miss Slover won the candy and shared it with the crowd. The next meeting will be at the home of C.H. Shepard Wednesday night, as they will hold them Wednesday instead of Saturday night hereafter.

There will be a new iron bridge build across the Eau Claire River north of Butler, which is 100 feet long.

Claude Shepard loaded a car with wood Friday for Zeno Wise of Fairchild.
