Anderson/Bauer

Susan Kay Bauer and Roy Timothy Anderson were married at 2 p.m. May 20 in St. Michel’s Catholic Church, Hewitt, with the Rev. Raymond Bornbach officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Bauer of 1430 E. 28th St. and Mrs. Elsie Anderson of Spencer.

Ann Walgen Bach was the soloist and Clarice Kieffer, organist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown with high illusion neckline, bishop sleeves, basque waistline and hand beaded pearls and sequins. She wore a floral headpiece and carried a bouquet of white lilies, roses and purple lilacs.

Mrs. Gail Moen of Marshfield was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lois Sommers of Marshfield and Laurie Bixby of Neillsville. They wore violet satin gowns with Austrian gathered bodices and lace inserts. They carried bouquets of lilies, lilacs and carnations.

Allen Anderson of Tempe, Ariz., was best man. Groomsmen were Steve Foth of Marshfield and Mark Cook of Spencer.

David Moen and Jon Zahn, both of Marshfield were ushers.

A reception, dinner and dance were at Knights of Columbus Hall, Marshfield.

The bride is a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She works at Figi’s Inc. The groom is a graduate of Spencer High School. He works at Shaw’s Wrecking Yard.

The couple will reside in Marshfield.
