Trimberger, Emma (18 December 1871 - 11 June 1948)

Funeral services for Mrs. John Trimberger, 76, were held on Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. Burial was made in the church cemetery. She died on Friday at her home in the village of Granton.

Mrs. Trimberger, the former Emma Fravert, was born on December 18, 1871 in Greenwood. On February 14, 1894, she was married at Greenwood to John Trimberger. She resided in Granton for the past 25 years. Her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter and three sons. They are Mrs. Richard (Amelia) Hillert and Walter and Hugo Trimberger of Granton, and Victor Trimberger of Oak Park, Ill. A son, William died in infancy. Surviving besides the children are her sisters; Mrs. Ernest Schoettler of Loyal, Mrs. Annie Plath and Mrs. Lydia Warner of Racine; three brothers, Fred Fravert of Loyal, and Otto and Albert Fravert of Greenwood. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. John Trimberger, 76, were held on Monday afternoon, June 14, (1948), at the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton, The Rev. William A. Lauterbach officiating. Burial took place in the Church cemetery. During the service Mrs. Norman Hannemann and Miss Ione Dankemeyer sang "Rock of Ages" and "Asleep in Jesus."

Pallbearers were: Wayne Trimberger, Eugene Trimberger, Theodore Hillert, Richard Hiller, Jr., all grandsons of the deceased, and Orlin Fravert and Donald Schoettler, both nephews. Mrs. Theodore Hillert, Elaine Trimberger, Edythe Schumacher, Fay Quicker and Helen Cleveland served as flower girls.
