39 New Polio Cases in State

Thirty-nine more new infantile paralysis cases have been reported in the last two days, the state board of health said today. The new reports bring to 483 the number of polio victims reported this year. Milwaukee reported 13 . more cases, although some were believed to be delayed reports. Five cases were reported from Washington county. Two are in Addison township, two in Kewaskum township, and one in Farmington township. Wauwatosa township, Milwaukee county, and Eden village, Fond du Lac county, reported two cases each, and the city of La Crosse had three new cases. The following localities reported one case each: Burlington; Sharon; Alma Center; Randolph township, Columbia county; Pewaukee township, Waukesha county; Auburn township, Fond du Lac County; Luxemburg; Burssell township, Door county; Butler township, Clark county; Antigo; Winchester township, Vilas county; Orfordville; Prentice, and Chase township, Oconto county.
