Blackman, Lottye (28 JUN 1904)

Miss Lottye Blackman was married to Mr. Albert H. Duge on Tuesday, June 28th, 1904, at 6 o’clock p.m., at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. S. E. Blackman, in Pleasant Ridge (Clark Co., Wis.), Rev. Guy Campbell performing the ceremony. Only a few of the relatives and more intimate friends witnessed the pretty wedding, which was followed by a bountiful and delicate supper. Both bride and groom were born and have grown to maturity on the Ridge, and are popular with everybody. The bride has been a successful teacher, a graduate of Neillsville High School, and Mr. Duge is an expert creamery man, at present holding an important position at Whitewater, right in the center of the state’s richest dairy country. It is a subject for hearty congratulations that these two well mated young people have started out in life together. They received many presents, beautiful and useful. Their home will be at Whitewater.
