Wallek, Alyce June (Marriage - 17 August 1946)

The Siloah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milwaukee, was the scene, August 17, of the wedding of Miss Alyce June Wallek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd L. Spry, Granton, Wis., and Gehrman A. Radtke, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Radtke of Rib Lake, Wis. The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. P. J. Burkholz at 5 p.m. The altar of the church was decorated with white gladioli.

The bride was dressed in a sky blue crepe suit trimmed with brocaded flowers, and she wore a corsage of gardenias and roses. Her matron of honor was Mrs. Arthur Jepsen, a friend of the bride and groom. The groom was attended by Arthur Jepsen. The Jepsens are from Rib Lake.

Dinner was served at the Pfister Hotel after the ceremony to the bridal party and a few close friends. The bride and groom spent a short wedding trip in Milwaukee and Brandon, Wis. They will make their home in Whitewater, Wis., after September 1.

Mrs. Radtke was graduated from the Granton High School and the Eau Claire State Teachers College, and taught Kindergarten at Rib Lake and Nekoosa. The groom was graduated from the Rib Lake High School and served with the United States Navy for a year and nine months. He will attend the Whitewater State Teachers’ College this fall.
