LOYAL -- Patricia A. Kelty, 63, of Loyal, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 21, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Patricia A. Kelty

LOYAL -- Patricia A. Kelty, 63, of Loyal, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal with the Rev. James Logan officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.

Patricia Ann Rueth was born Oct. 12, 1944, in Marshfield, the daughter of Peter and Selma (Ploman) Rueth. She was raised and received her education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1962. Patricia was united in marriage to Jerry Kelty on July 12, 1964. They later divorced. She was the proud mother of her three children, Jon Peter, Julie and James. Patricia worked for Rollohome of Marshfield before devoting all of her time, energy and efforts to the care of her children, especially her handicapped son, Jon Peter. She later worked part time for the city of Loyal. Patricia also worked for many years at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal, serving as secretary/bookkeeper and organist. She retired in October 2006 because of health issues.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its PCCW.

Patricia shared her cheerful personality with everyone she knew. She had many interests but especially enjoyed reading, her cats, talking with friends and playing the accordion and piano.

She will be dearly missed by her three children, Jon Peter, Julie Kelty and James, all of Loyal; her mother, Selma Rueth of Marshfield; one sister, Gertrude (Jerry) Kolb of Spencer; three nieces, Pam Kolb of Madison, Paula Kolb (special friend Art Cordova) of Madison, Carol (Tony) Camin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and one nephew, Tim Kolb of Lowell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Rueth.
