Strangfeld, Alice (Marriage - 4 Nov. 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Devere Sischo, newlyweds, are established on the Roy Sischo farm near Christie, where they will make their home.

The bride is Alice Strangfeld, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Strangfeld of Neillsville. She is a graduate of the Neillsville high school with the class of 1944, and was last employed in the office of the Clark County Press.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sischo of Greenwood.

The couple was married Sunday, November 4, at 2:30 p.m., at the Pine Valley Lutheran church. The Rev. Leonard Domke of Granton officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown trimmed with wide lace and a full net overskirt. She wore a finger tip veil, edged with wide lace caught to a beaded tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

The maid of honor was Miss Louise Fritsche, Dorchester, cousin of the bride, and Miss Alice Beyer of Neillsville, second cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Donald Holt of Greenwood, cousin of the groom, was best man. Louie Paun of Granton, a friend, also attended.

Miss Virginia Dux played the organ and Miss Marian Beyer sang "Oh Promise Me."

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, followed by a shower and dance at the Weston town hall.
