Benner, Hazel (Marriage - 26 Sept. 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Tramm, newlyweds, are now residing at their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The bride, Hazel Benner, whose father lives in Denver, Colo., has been employed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Fred Schroeder of Neillsville. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Tramm, live at Hayward. He formerly attended high school here and has recently received his honorable discharge after serving overseas three years with the armed forces.

The couple were married on Wednesday, September 26, at 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran church at Neillsville. The Rev. William A. Baumann officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in an olive green suit and wore a corsage of gardenias. The bridesmaid, Miss Beulah Benner, sister of the bride, wore a flowered jersey dress with a corsage of gardenias.

The groom’s attendant was Fred Polenske.

A wedding reception for 33 guests was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blum, uncle and aunt of the groom.

Those from out-of-town who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Tramm of Hayward, parents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Polenske, Milwaukee; Miss Beulah Benner, sister of the bride, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mund and son, Eileen and Lois Tramm, all of Rockford, Ill.; and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Beyer of the town of Weston. The ladies are all sisters of the groom.
