Mauel, Rosalie (17 NOV 1945)

Miss Rosalie Mauel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Mauel, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Marvin Koenig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koenig of Kewaskum, on Saturday, Nov. 17, 1945, at 10:15 o’clock, at the Holy Angel’s Rectory, at West Bend, the Rev. J. Gable officiating.

The bride wore a light blue wool dress with black accessories and a white orchid. She was attended by her sister, Miss Alice Mauel of Wausau, who was dressed in a white wool dress with brown accessories and wore a corsage of mums.

The groom was attended by his brother, Walter Koenig of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served to 35 guests at the Bauer Hotel at Campbellsport, and the young couple left that evening fro Santa Fe, New Mexico, on a wedding trip.

The bride for the past two years has been employed as a registered nurse in the hospital at West Bend.

Upon their return the young couple will make their home in West Bend, and will be at home to their friends after Jan. 1, 1946.

Mauel and son, Henry Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lehnen and Miss Lois Kitze, Owen; Miss Alice Mauel, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Shreve and Miss Eleanor Mauel, Weyauwega; Miss Myra McMillan, Ripon; Walter J. Koenig, Milwaukee, and T/Cpl. And Mrs. E.B. Johnson, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
