Memorial services were conducted Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Withee, for Pvt. Raymond Ciegelnik, son of Mrs. Bernice Ciegelnik of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), the Rev. Father Brockman officiating.

Pvt. Ciegelnik was killed in action on Luzon, March 13, 1945. He was born Dec. 23, 1925.

He leaves to mourn, his mother, two sisters, Olga of Detroit, Mich., and Lorraine at home, and one brother, John, who resides at home. Also his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Kroll Sr., and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kroll Jr., all of Withee.
