Hessel, Paul Otto (20 Jan. 1884 - 11 Apr. 1945)
Paul Otto Hessel, 61, of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, April 11.
Mr. Hessel was born Jan. 20, 1884, in Leibzig, Germany, and came to America when he was 19 years of age. On May 17, 1915, he married Bertha Worchel in the town of Grant. They lived on a farm in the town of Warner, northwest of Greenwood, until 1924, when they moved to Abbotsford, Wis. He was a professional painter and upholsterer.
Surviving are his wife and four children: Evelyn, Mrs. Paul Trump, and Dorothy, Mrs. Bernard Decker, both of Chicago; Howard of Beaver Dam; Lawrence of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There is one granddaughter, Lu Ann Hessel of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
