Marriage pledges were spoken by Miss Wilma Bradle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bradle of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Gilbert Alger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Alger of Thorp, at the bride’s home, Tuesday morning, Sept. 10, 1946, at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. F.H. Sprengler performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a brocaded satin gown with full skirt and long train. Her fingertip veil was held in place by a beaded tiara of orange blossoms. The bride carried a streamer bouquet of white carnations and roses.

Miss Charlotte Siemek, the bridesmaid, wore a blue taffeta formal with a bouquet of pink carnations. The maid of honor, sister of the bride, wore a yellow taffeta formal with a bouquet of pink carnations.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for immediate families.
