Stanton, Joan (Marriage - 6 June 1944)

The marriage of Miss Joan Stanton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joy Stanton and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stanton, Neillsville, to Enos Stout, son of Mrs. Mary Jordan of Johnson, Ark., took place at 6:30 in the evening on June 6, at Albany, Cal. The ceremony was performed in the First Baptist Church of Albany.

The bride was attired in a pastel green silk, street length dress with white accessories. Her corsage was a gardenia.

The bridal couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Melton Boucher, of Richmond, Cal., uncle and aunt of the bride. After the ceremony, a lunch was served to immediate relatives and a few close friends, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boucher. A three-tier wedding cake centered the table.

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School, class of 1943. The groom attended school in Johnson, Ark. They are making their home in Richmond, Cal., where the groom is employed by the Ford Motor Co.
