Fitzmaurice, June (Marriage - 27 June 1944)

Miss June Fitzmaurice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fitzmaurice of Humbird, became the bride of George Michels, son of Mrs. Emma Michels, Alma Center, in a double ring ceremony performed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fairview, Wis., at 9 a.m., on June 27, the ceremony being performed by Father Geissler, pastor of the church. The church was decorated with ferns and orange blossoms.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin floor length dress and carried a white prayer book. She wore a strand of pearls, a gift of the groom.

Miss Clara Gilles, Waunakee, Wis., cousin of the groom, was the bridesmaid and Willard Putman, Humbird, cousin of the bride, attended the groom, Allen ***Rest Cut off.**
