Walkama, Jean Elizabeth (Marriage - 12 June 1945)

Miss Jean Elizabeth Walkama, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eino Walkama of Owen, became the bride of Herbert Irving Goessl, town of Hoard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Goessl, Curtiss, in a wedding ceremony read in the Holy Rosary Catholic church at Owen, June 12, at 9 a.m. The Rev. Francis Brochman officiated at the High mass.

Miss Mercedes Goessl, a sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and Miss Mary Walkama, a sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Thomas Mulvanny, Milwaukee, cousin of the groom, and Edwin Zowal, Withee, attended the bridegroom.

Mrs. Goessl was graduated from the Owen high school with the class of 1945. Her husband is engaged in farming in the town of Hoard near Curtiss. They will be at home to friends at the end of the month.
