Seefeldt, Pearl A. (25 MAY 1946)

A very pretty spring wedding took place at the Epiphany Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 25th, 1946 at two p.m., when Miss Pearl Adeline Seefeldt, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Seefeldt, became the bride of Orren N. Olson, son of Mrs. Minnie Olson. Rev. F.H. Sprengler performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was lovely in a white nylon dress with a shirred bodice, three-quarter length gloves and a finger tip veil with a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried pink roses, white snapdragons and white lilies with white streamers.

The matron of honor, the groom’s sister, Mrs. Selma Woolcock of Darlington, wore a blue taffeta dress with lace inserts, she wore flowers in her hair, three-quarter length blue gloves and carried talisman roses and baby breath with pink streamers.

The bridesmaid, Mrs. Fredrick Seefeldt of St. Paul, sister-in-law of the bride, wore a pink chiffon dress, she wore pink flowers in her hair and three-quarter length pink gloves and carried talisman roses with baby breath with green streamers.

The best man, Frederick Seefeldt of St. Paul, brother of the bride, wore a blue suit with a white carnation in his lapel. The groom wore a medium blue pin-stripe suit with a pink rose in his lapel.

Mrs. Reuben Kalk san "I Love You Truly" and "O Perfect Love" and Katherine Aumann played the organ.

The bride’s mother wore a grey suit with white accessories. The groom’s mother wore a spring jersey dress. Both wore corsages of sweet peas and roses.

The dinner was served at 5:30 in the church parlor to the immediate relatives and members of the Luther League, of which the bride is a member.

Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Seefeldt and sons Russell, Kenneth, Lester and Arvid of Colman, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seefeldt and sons Gordon and Ralph of Manitowoc, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Penniston, daughter Sherry and sons Terry and Gaylord, and Mrs. Clarence Woolcock and daughter Fay Marilyn of Darlington; Mrs. Annie Schultze of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Trierweiler, all of St. Paul.
