Kulig, Dr. Albert H. (16 APR 1886 - 27 JAN 1946)

A heart attack which occurred at his home in the village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday morning was fatal to Dr. A.H. Kulig, Thorp physician, 59 years of age. He was stricken just as he entered his house after returning from Low Mass at St. Bernard’s Church. He died at 11:25 a.m.

The doctor suffered a severe attack about a year ago and although he continued his work because of the scarcity of men of his profession, his health was poor. Quietness and over-exertion were the only guard against reoccurrence of the heart ailment. Dr. Kulig practiced here for the past eighteen years, taking over the office of Dr. F.D. Jackey, who died at the age of 60 years.

Funeral services will be conducted at St. Bernard’s Church at 9:30 o’clock on Thursday morning, Jan. 31st with military honors by the American Legion at the grave. An obituary will appear in this paper next week.
