Warminski, Amelia H. (18 NOV 1944)

A very pretty wedding took place at St. Hedwig’s Church on Saturday morning, Nov. 18th, 1944 at 9:00 o’clock nuptial mass, when Mr. Louis Malecki Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malecki Sr., of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Amelia Helen Warminski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Warminski of Gilman, were joined in holy bonds.

The bride was beautifully attired in a dress with sweetheart neckline, the top of satin and full silk skirt.

She wore a long train and veil with a beaded headpiece. Her bouquet was of white roses and chrysanthemums.

Her bridesmaid, Edna Warminski, wore an aqua dress, full length, with taffeta top. Stefania Stromek, also bridesmaid, wore an aqua dress with full net skirt. Both maids carried bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums, tied with yellow streamers.

Eugenia Warminski, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She was dressed in pink with taffeta top and net, and carried a bouquet of white and pink chrysanthemums. The groom and his attendants, Clemens Ogurek and Edward Jasinski, wore black tuxedos.

Stanley Warminski, the bride’s brother, with dark suit, was bearers of the rings, and Evangeline Rataiczyk, as flower girl, was dressed in red velvet and white net skirt, and carried a basket to white chrysanthemums and red carnations.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the P.N.A. Hall where dinner and supper was served to relatives and friends and a dance enjoyed in the evening.

The newlyweds will reside on the Malecki farm in the Town of Withee.

Out of town guests at the wedding were, Messrs. And Mesdames Edward Knoll of Stratford, Walter Wargolet, Milwaukee, Walter Prasalowicz and Harry Franek of Antigo, and Anthony Rataiczyk of Chicago.
