Buss, Charles Frederick William (March 26, 1896 - April 6, 1930)

Green Grove Man Dies In Milwaukee

Charles Frederick William Buss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Buss was born on the Buss Homestead in the town of Green grove, March 26, 1896, and died the result of an attach of heart failure at Milwaukee Sunday April 6th, at 8 o’clock a.m. at the age of 34 years and 11 days.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, William, who died at the age of 10 years and Frederick, killed in action in the world war.

Charles served five months in camp during the war.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Buss, two sisters, Mr. Emil Buss and Mrs. Byron Lulloff, and one brother, Herman Buss, all residing the this community.

Funeral services were held Thursday, afternoon, April 10th at one o’clock from the Curtiss Reformed church. Rev. H. K. Harman, officiating, and interment was made in the Curtiss cemetery just north of the village.
