I live in Taylor County and was born on Paradise Creek. A Mr. Henry Tuttle(wife: Kate??) built a sawmill there sometime in the 1800s. They built an earthen dam upon which they floated logs...less than one mile.

Is it possible that you would have any info on this man and his work in Taylor County? If you do I would be most appreciative to receive it from you. I need this info for a book on Taylor County History. This is a community project and we have writers from one end of the county to the other. Stephen N2838 Winter Sports Road Withee, Wis 54498
