Luepke, Dorothy (14 Feb. 1909 - 18 July 1996)

Spencer, Wis. - Dorothy (Weber) Luepke, 87, of 305 Roberts St., Spencer, Wisconsin, died at 6:50 a.m. July 18, 1996, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. Charles Stoelzel, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery in the town of Sherman, Clark County.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home in Spencer with a parish prayer service at 8 p.m.

Dorothy was born Feb. 14, 1909, in Marshfield, to Joseph and Grace (Koholka) Weber. She attended school in the town of Brighton, Marathon County.

She was married to George Luepke on June 15, 1932, at Christ the King rectory in Spencer. He preceded her in death. She farmed with her husband in the town of Brighton and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Parish Council of Catholic Women, and the Senior Citizens.

Dorothy is survived by three sons, Donald (Lurita) Luepke and Norman (Mary Ann) Luepke, all of Marshfield, and Kenneth (Janice) Luepke of Spencer; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Theresa Nowakowksi.
