Hass, Matilda (1851 - 13 Dec. 1930)

Mrs. John Hass was born in Germany in 1851 and passed away at Abbotsford Saturday, Dec. 13, 1930.

She emigrated to America in 1893 and in 1894 was united in marriage to John Hass, settling on a farm near Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. Hass preceded her in death twenty-six years ago.

Since 1920 she has made her home in Abbotsford, Wis. She was sick only a short time, death being caused by double pneumonia.

She leaves to mourn one son, Wm. of Stetsonville, and four step children, Fred Hass of Stetsonville, Mrs. Ida Lau of Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Selma Schroeder and Otto Hass of Vesper, and twelve grandchildren, besides numerous other relatives.

The remains were laid at rest in the Holton cemetery.
