Olson, Hans (24 Dec. 1857 - 7 Dec. 1930)

Hans Olson was born in the town of Clayton, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, on December 24, 1857, and passed away at his home in the town of Holton Sunday morning, December 7, 1930, at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 6 days.

He was united in marriage to Gena Olson, who with six children survive; all residing in this community; Mrs. Ernest Kramer of Milan, Mrs. Erick Beisner of Dorchester, Einer, town of Holton, Helena and Oscar at home, and Ruth, who is taking her nurse’s training at St. Mary’s hospital at Oshkosh.

Mr. Olson has lived in the town of Holton the past 39 years. He was a man very well liked by all who knew him and a good neighbor.

He was apparently in good health but suffered a heart attack which proved fatal.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church at Dorchester, Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. J. Brandt officiating.

Pall bearers were Clarence Olson, George Empy, Henry Olson, Chris Olson, Morris Beckham and Wm. Beckman Jr.

Flower girls were Mildred and Gladys Olson, Violet Kramer, Gladys Anderson, Vernice and May Olson.

The entire community joins in extending kindest sympathy to the bereaved family.
