Boyer, Howard (8 Mar. 1878 - 26 Aug. 1958)

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday for Howard Boyer, 80, who died of old age complications at his home here.

The Rev. Robert Langseth officiated at final rites in Trinity Lutheran Church and burial was made in the Unity, Wisconsin cemetery. The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Wis.

Mr. Boyer was born March 8, 1878 in Chilton. He came to Unity at the age of six months and lived in this area all of his life, with the exception of three years when he lived in Virginia, Minn.

He was married in 1928 to Mrs. Fanny Boyer, who survives.

Other survivors are one son, Harold Boyer, Unity; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Joseph O’Brien, Marshfield; and Mrs. James O’Brien, Loyal; two stepsons, Charles Boyer, Elgin, Ill.; and Lester Boyer, at home; and 15 grandchildren.

Three brothers preceded him in death.
