West Unity - Jan. 25, 1952

Our roads are keeping many at home this week, which is one of the best places to stay with roads as they are if people do not have to go out on business. When inclined to be dissatisfied with weather, crops, etc. in Wisconsin compare the weather, etc., in many other states and you will think Wisconsin is a paradise with its beautiful forests, parks, lakes and farms.

Due credit should be given the car and truck drivers in the locality for the few accidents hereabouts. A few slid into the ditch due to the icy roads.

Mrs. Richard Kuehling is improving satisfactorily.

Mrs. J. Schaller, Mrs. A. Peberson and Mrs. B. Hubbard were Abbotsford visitors Sunday.

Mr. Gail Lueth called on the L. Hubbards Thursday evening.

Mr. D. Runkel is very ill at his home.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schaller spent Sunday p.m. with a relative in Neillsville.

Mrs. J. Schaller called on the Hubbards Sunday p.m. The Hubbards have not been well the past few weeks.
