Piper, Eileen (9 OCT 1943)

S. Sergeant Anton Papierniak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Papierniak, Sr. of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Eileen Piper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Piper of Thorp, were joined in holy wedlock by Chaplain at San Angelo, Texas on Saturday, Oct. 9th, 1943. The ceremony was performed at seven o’clock in the morning at the post chapel. Lt. Burke Piper, brother of the bride, who is stationed at Camp Campbell, Kentucky, was present at the ceremony. Pvt. Paul Manicki, formerly of Thorp, who is also at San Angelo, was among friends who attended. The bride wore a street dress of beige with brown accessories.

Both the bride and groom grew up in Thorp and graduated together from the Thorp High School. Their many friends join in wishing them the best of luck.
