Haas, Ethel (19 JUL 1943)

Miss Ethel Haas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Haas of Eidsvold (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Ruby Ciolkosz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciolkosz of Stanley, in a wedding ceremony performed by Father Muckerheide at St. Bernard’s Church in Thorp Monday morning, July 19, 1943, at 8:00 o’clock.

Miss Doris Ciolkosz and Mr. Leonard Haas were the only attendants.

The bride wore an aqua dress and a white turban. She carried a bouquet of mixed flowers. Miss Cilkosz was attired in a pink crepe frock.

The groom, a second class seaman, was attired in his Navy uniform. His attendant wore a suit of navy blue.

A reception was held at the bride’s home, followed by a dance at the Eidsvold Town Hall. The groom returned to the Great Lakes Naval Training Station on Wednesday.

Out of town guests attending were the Ted Schultz family, the Bania family, the Staron family, and the Smogzk family, all of Stanley.
