Pacholke, Hulda (25 Dec. 1858 - 25 Aug. 1950)

Mrs. Hulda Pacholke died at her home in Colby Friday morning at the age of 91 years, old age complications being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. F. P. Puhlmann officiating and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were O. W. Sturner, Jack Young, Ernest Miller, R. E. Baum, Herman Strathman and Henry Forbish. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. O. H. Davis, Mrs. Oscar Dittmeyer, Mrs. H. Herrmann, Mrs. Orville Baumgart, Mrs. Minnie Boehm, Mrs. Wm. Schorer, Mrs. E. F. Schultz, Mrs. Ed Dehne and Mrs. Sam Yelke.

Hulda Krueger Pacholke was born in Germany on Dec. 25, 1858, and was married in that country to Carl Pacholke on May 16, 1884. They came to the United States in 1887, settling in Pennsylvania. They moved to Colby in 1914. Mr. Pacholke died Aug. 6th, 1941.

Surviving are one adopted son, William C. Pacholke of Colby, three grand children and three great grand children.

The deceased was a faithful member of her church and just as faithful to her family and friends. She was always ready to lend a helping hand in time of need - both in acts of kindness and in words.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mrs. C. A. Cobb of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hederer of Marshfield.
