Wucherpfennig, Albert Henry (31 May 1888 - 6 Apr. 1950)

Albert Henry Wucherphennig of the town of Frankfort passed away at the home of his brother, Reinhold, of Unity, Wisconsin last Thursday at the age of 61 years, cancer being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home, where the body had been lying in state, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Rev. F. J. Smith officiated. Pall bearers were Herman Punke, John Punke, Rudolph Punke, Henry Punke, Albert Syring and Martin Syring, all nephews of the deceased. Flowers were in charge of Lenora Wucherpfennig, Carol Wucherpfennig and Mrs. Herman Totzke.

Mr. Wucherpfennig was born in the town of Frankfort on May 31, 1888, and received his education there. He resided in Lingerwood, N.D., from 1807 to 1918, and since that time, lived in the town of Frankfort.

Surviving are five brothers and two sisters - Ferdinand of Colby, Gustave of the town of Frankfort, Frank and Frederick of Forman, N.D., Reinhold of Unity, Mrs. William (Emella) Roghers of Gay Mills and Mrs. Sam (Augusta) Yelke of Colby, Wis. His parents, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Punke, Mrs. Alfred Wendt, Mrs. Ben Stubinski and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gebert of Wausau, Mrs. Leslie Teske of Marathon, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Punke and Mrs. Bertha Sodke of Edgar, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schmidt of Marshfield and other friends and neighbors of Stratford and Edgar.
