Nason, Vernon U. (1865? - 6 JUL 1943)

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), the Rev. R.E. Ortmayer, pastor of St. Katherine’s Church, officiating, for Vernon U. Nason, 78, whose death occurred Tuesday, July 6, 1943.

Mr. Nason was born at Nasonville, this county, where he grew to manhood, and as an occupation was a woodsman. He spent the greater portion of his life at Park Falls. For the past few years he has visited in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) on many occasions.

Members of his immediate family living are a sister, Mrs. Stella Ingle, La Grande, Ore., and one brother, V.G. Nason of Marshfield.

The body was taken this afternoon to Nasonville, where interment was made in the family lot at the cemetery there.
