Daenicke, Elaine (Marriage - 6 May 1950)

Miss Elaine Daenicke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Daenicke of Abbotsford, and Raymond Johnson of Abbotsford, son of Mrs. F. Budde of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage Saturday, May 6th, at 2:30 P.M., at Christ Lutheran church at Abbotsford, Rev. Sprengler reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Donald Daenicke was matron of honor and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Lloyd Ringquist of Spencer and Beverly Daenicke. The groom was attended by Donald Daenicke and Lloyd Ringquist. Shirley Daenicke was the flower girl.

The bride was attired in a gown of nylon marquisette, long train, lace in skirt and train, sleeves came to points over wrists. Her bouquet consisted of calla lilies and red roses. The matron of honor wore a dress of pink marquisette styled with an over-skirt and her bouquet consisted of mixed spring flowers. Mrs. Ringquist wore a dress of mist green taffeta and her bouquet also consisted of mixed spring flowers. A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents which was decorated in pink, yellow, orchid, green and white streamers. In the evening, a dance was held at Walter’s pavilion.

The couple will make their home in Abbotsford while the groom is employed by the Marathon-Clark Dairy Association. The bride is employed by the Abbotsford bakery.
