Hartl, Marion Mrs. (Marriage - 18 Feb. 1950)

Mrs. Marion Hartl of Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pech, Sr., of Unity, and Dudley Staves, also of Eau Claire, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Staves of Humbird, were united in marriage Saturday at high noon in the First Epiphany Lutheran church in Eau Claire, Rev. Worth officiating.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a blue floor length satin gown with a matching short veil and carried a bouquet of carnations. Miss Beverly Staves, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor and wore a rose taffeta gown. Mrs. Joe Pech, Jr., sister in law of the bride, was bridesmaid, and wore a light green taffeta gown. Both attendants carried bouquets of carnations.

Robert Schultz of Eau Claire served as best man and Joe Pech, Jr., brother of the bride, was groomsman. Wally Hartl was the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was served at the Hotel Edwards and, in the evening, a dance was held in the I.O.O.F. hall in Alma Center.

The bride is employed at the Eau Claire Insurance and Loan Co., and the groom is employed at the Relay Dept. of the Northern States Power Co. at Eau Claire. The couple will reside at 715 Bellinger Street, Eau Claire, Wis.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fuller of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. William Staves of Humbird and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pech, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pech, Jr., of Unity.
