Bezlyk, Anna (15 February 1924 - 23 February 2008)

Anna Bezlyk, 84, of Neillsville, died February 23, 2008, in Mansfield, TX, following a brief illness.

Anna was born February 15, 1924, in the Ukraine to John and Tonya (Voleka) Sabinina. She received her education in the Ukraine. In 1942, at age 15, she was taken to Germany and worked in a factory in Stuttgart. After the war, she worked for a florist in Ulm, Germany. In November 1956, she came to the U.S., to Philadelphia, PA, then Chester Park, PA, for one year, and then to Chicago, IL. She married John Bezlyk in Maryland February 17, 1957. In 1975, they moved to Granton. John died in 1985 and Anna sold their small farm and moved to Florida for one year and then to the city of Neillsville in 1987. Since December 4, 2007, she resided with her daughter in Texas.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Richard) Dolquist, of Mansfield, TX; granddaughters, Natalie Divis, of Mansfield, and Jennifer Kotz, of Chicago; a grandson, Kurt Kotz, U. S. Navy, stationed in Ventura, CA; and one great-granddaughter, Avery Divis, of Mansfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 1, at the Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville, with Pastor Mark Fugate, of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Columbia Cemetery, Town of Hewett.

The Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
