Eisenbise, Flora M. (2 MAY 1864 - 10 APR 1943)

Mrs. Flora M. Eisenbise, daughter of Alfred and Polly Anne Moses, was born May 2, 1864, at Ellenboro, Wis., and died April 10, 1943 at her home in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

She was united in marriage to Benjamin F. Eisenbise Oct. 12th, 1881 at Lancaster, Wis. In 1901 Mr. and Mrs. Eisenbise moved with their family to a farm near Owen, where they resided until 1919, when they moved to Owen and have made their home since.

Five daughters were born to Mr. and Mrs. Eisenbise, all of whom are living, namely, Orpha (Mrs. W.D Hull) and Prudence (Mrs. Turney) of Owen; Bessie (Mrs. F.L. Alban), Chippewa Falls; Trinne (Mrs. J.M. Keemle), Rock Island, Ill., and Irma (Mrs. L.A. Richardson) Menomonie, Wis. Besides the above daughters, she leaves to mourn, one sister, Mrs. Josh Leighty, Lancaster, Wis., two brothers, L.D. Moses, Mitchell, S.D., and Budd D. Moses, Baker, Oregon, many nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eisenbise has been in failing health since the death of her husband in January and had been bedfast the last two weeks. On Saturday afternoon she suffered a severe heart attack from which she died.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, April 13th, at the First Congregational Church, the Rev. Wesley a. Hotchkiss officiating. Interment was made at Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were R.C. Graham, H.M. Wollum, Charles Schmocker, Julius Johnson, Albert Schafer and Arthur Wolfram.

Those attending from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Keemle, Rock Island, Ill., Mrs. Bessie Alban and daughter, Ruth, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Richardson and daughter, Anne, Miss Jean Turney, Menomonie; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wildule, and Mrs. Geo. C. Lund, Eau Claire; Mrs. W.W. Mittlestadt, Marshfield, Lt. Virginia Alban, Amarillo, Texas; Pvt. Frank Hull, Camp McCoy; Mr. and Mrs. D.E. Marshall, Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Kuehnast, Abbotsford, Wis.
