Huber, Theodore O. #2 (16 DEC 1916 - 7 FEB 2008)

Theodore O. "Ted" Huber, 91, Spencer, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, with his family by his side, at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor, Abbotsford, Wis. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 11, at the Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer Chapel (formerly Community Funeral Home). The Rev. Karl Rose officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Theodore O. Huber was born on Dec. 16, 1916, in Spencer, to Wenzel and Amelia (nee Stelzel) Huber. He was born on the Huber family farm and lived there his entire life. He married Alice Walti on June 18, 1938. He was employed at Land O Lakes, Inc. as a cheese grader and warehouse manager for 43 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and a proud member of the Spencer Fire Department from the time he was 17 years old, serving for nearly 45 years/ Some of his interests included gardening, fishing, playing cards, bowling, watching baseball and tending to his farm in Spencer.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 69 years, Alice; two sons, Dennis (Linda) Huber, Chetek, and Richard (Mary Ann) Huber, Madison; three grandchildren, Scott (Cathy) Huber, Wausau, Steven (Michelle) Huber, Wausau, and Julie (Allen) Mueller, Andover, Minn.; six great-grandchildren, Lindsey Mueller, and Sara, Zachariah, Ryan, Amanda and Ava Huber, a step-grandchild, Kacy (Andy) McRae; a step-great-grandchild, Amber Hrobsky; two step-great-great-grandchildren, Draeven and Dezaray; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and eight brothers and sisters.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in his memory are encouraged to do so to the Spencer Fire Department.

The Huber family would like to thank the staff of Golden Living Center-Continental Manor, for the compassion and care he received.

Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home, Spencer Chapel, assisted the family with arrangements.
