Barrett, Mary (4 NOV 1942)

Miss Mary Barrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Barrett of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Emil Luchterhand, Colby, in a 6 p.m. ceremony performed at Stevens Point on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1942. Judge L.J.U. Murat officiating.

The bride, who was graduated from Central State Teachers College, Stevens Point, in 1940, teaches in a rural school in Taylor County. Mr. Luchterhand, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, is engaged in farming.

After Monday, when they will return from a brief honeymoon in Milwaukee and Chicago, they will be at home to their friends on the groom’s farm near Unity. Mrs. Luchterhand will continue to teach.
