Curtiss, Wis. - Nov. 1, 1949

Mrs. Lottie Neuman has moved into her home last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Schwandt and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Johnson visited with Floyd Klemtson, who is a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. F. Tonn, Mrs. Henry Peterson and Mrs. Paul Konick spent last Wednesday in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and sons of Stetsonsville visited Sunday afternoon at the Jacob Johnson home.

Saturday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Archie Ackerman were shopping in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Boardman and children of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. H. Steltenberg and son of Nelsonville, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hoff and son of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCorrison and daughter, Jane, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hoff.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Erickson and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bakke spent the weekend at Brookings, S.D., where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Erickson’s son, John.

Mr. Jim Smith and daughters of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bowen, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bowen were dinner guests of Mrs. Ethel Bowen Sunday.

Mrs. Martha Harmel and Jimmy Tonn visited friends at Withee on Friday afternoon.

Wednesday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Schraufnagel and Miss Bernice Fahrenbach of Medford were visitors at the home of Miss Farhrenabch, and Mrs. Schraufnagel’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fahrenbach.

Mrs. Mary Malheim and Mr. Jack Bersierker of Dodgeville, visited on Saturday with Mrs. Malheim’s sister, Mrs. Ethel Bowen.

Mr. Godhold Martin visited his brother, Rheinhold, at Withee Monday afternoon.

Rev. and Mrs. Odland and family of Minnesota have moved into their new residence, formerly occupied by the Rev. Borreson family. Rev. Odland has accepted the pastorate for the Ev. Norwegian Lutheran church.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fahrenbach of Neillsville visited Wednesday with Mr. Fahrenbach’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fahrenbach, Sr.

Mr. Herman Buss is doing mason work for H. H. Christensen of Abbotsford, Wis.

John Juntunenn and Arnold Laino of Owen called on friends here Monday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bucy are the proud parents of a son. Mrs. Bucy is the former Anita Ackerman.

Sunday afternoon Mrs. F. Tonn and son, Harold, attended the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Merschefske of Medford, Mrs. *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
