Bando, Mary (25 MAR 1877 - 9 DEC 1942)

Mrs. Mary Bando passed away at her home at Lublin, Wis., on Dec. 9, 1942, having reached the age of 65 years.

The deceased was born in Poland on March 25, 1877. She came to this country in 1913 and settled on a farm near Lublin. She was married to Stanley Bando in 1900 in Poland. Her husband and five children survive, two daughters, (Tecla) Mrs. Alex Lewan and (Mary) Mrs. Peter Grendzinski; three sons, Walter, Ted and John; one brother, Joseph Mika of Chicago, and eight grandchildren, Eugene, Robert and Irene Lewan and Leonard, William, Raymond, Edmund and Joh Grendzinski.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jos. Rapala at St. Stanislaus Church at Lublin on Saturday morning, Dec. 12th, with interment taking place in the parish cemetery. Members of the Holy Rosary Society and Z.N.P. Group 1681, attended the services in a body. Pallbearers were sons, Walter, Ted and John Bando, and sons-in-law Alex Lewan and Peter Grendzinski, and grandson Robert Lewan.
