Olinski, Louise (15 AUG 1942)

Miss Louise Olinski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Olinski of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was married to Henry Rembecki, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rembecki of Detroit, Mich., Saturday, Aug. 15, 1942. The 10 o’clock morning ceremony was performed by Rev. Z. Lengowski at St. Hedwig’s Church of Thorp.

The bride wore a gown of slipper white satin and lace, a fingertip veil and a beaded tiara with hearts. Her bouquet was of white rose swansonias and baby’s breath.

The bridesmaid, Miss Leona Olinski, was attired in a gown of sparking pink sheer chiffon and carried a bouquet of pink roses and baby’s breath.

Other attendants were: Miss Isabel Olinski, bridesmaid, who wore a dress of yellow sparkling sheer chiffon, Yolanda Rembecki, maid of honor, attired in aqua flowered net, and Marcie Wincek, matron of honor, in a gown of blue chiffon and lace.

The groom, dressed in a tuxedo, was attended by Joe Zwarki, also in a tuxedo, and Edmund Grzegozewski.

A reception was held at the PNA Hall at Thorp, where dinner and supper was served and a dance given. The couple will make their home in Detroit where the groom is employed at the Packard Motor Co.

Among those present from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rembecki, Mrs. Joseph Olinski of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Sophie Stevens of Minneapolis, and Miss Isabel Olinski of Chicago.
