Klewicki, George (18 APR 1865 - 19 JUL 1942)

Mr. George Klewicki, aged 77 years and 3 months, died from unknown causes at his home on Sunday, July 19th, 1942.

Mr. Klewicki, son of Stanley and Frances Klewicki, was born in Lomza, Poland on April 18, 1865. He was married there to Josephine Kasperovicz in November 1886. He arrived in America in 1903 and spent 3 years in Shenandoah, Penn., before coming to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1906 and locating on a farm.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Josephine Klewicki, and one son, Walter Klewicki.

Funeral services were held at the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley on July 23rd at 10 o’clock, Rev. Walsh officiating. Pallbearers were George Novak, John Filipiak, Joe Pletka, Joe Wozniak, Marek Depa and John Blasczyk.

Burial was made at the Eidsvold Cemetery.
