Gridel, Carolyn (Marriage - 15 Oct. 1955)
Miss Carolyn Gridel of the town of Holton and Arnold A. Steinwand of the town of Colby were united in marriage Saturday morning, Oct. 15, in St. Louis Catholic church at Dorchester, Very Rev. Msgr. Thomas F. Hayden officiating. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mueller of Colby, Wis.
The bride was attired in a brown wool suit on which a corsage of pink roses and white carnations was pinned. Her hat and accessories were pink. Mrs. Mueller wore a gray wool suit with green hat and accessories. Her corsage was similar to that of the bride.
A dinner was served the bridal party, immediate relatives and Msgr. Hayden at the Sky Lite Club at Corinth.
Guests present included Mr. and Mrs. Marte Petrich of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Francis Steinwand, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Steinwand, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zassenhaus, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Baumgart, Joseph Steinwand and William Singstock, all of Colby, Wis.
The couple spent their honeymoon at St. Paul, Minn., Dubuque, Iowa, Rockford, Ill., and Milwaukee and are now at home to friends on the groom’s farm.
