Harvey, David Walter (1872? - 23 Dec. 1953)

David Walter Harvey, a former Colby, Wisconsin citizen and a retired chicken rancher, died on December 23rd, 1953, at the age of 82 years in a Santa Cruz, Calif., hospital after a lingering illness.

Mr. Harvey was born in Fond du Lac, Wis., and moved to Sheboygan to stay with his grand mother at the age of two. When he was in his teens he came to Colby to farm. He moved to California 32 years ago.

Surviving are a son, Howard, of Santa Cruz; a brother, Frank, of Colby and three half-brothers in Mount Morris, Ill.

Last rites were conducted by Mrs. Pauline Powell in White’s chapel and private inturnment followed in the IOOF crematory.
