Krueger, Patricia Eleanore (Dec. 1954)

Miss Patricia Eleanore Krueger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krueger of Curtiss, and Melvin H. Leffel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Leffel of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage in the Evangelical Lutheran church at Curtiss, Wis., Rev. M. I. Egge officiating at the 1:00 o’clock service.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a dinner at the Curtiss Hall followed.

A pointed collar detailed the Chantilly lace long-sleeved bodice of the gown donned by the bride. Three tiers of net formed the bouffant skirt. Completing her ensemble were a veil secured to a seed pearl trimmed crown and a bouquet of red roses and white carnations interspersed with tiny bells.

Miss Arlene Krueger came from Milwaukee to serve as maid of honor for her sister. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white carnations with her burgundy-colored frock, which featured a net skirt and a velvet bodice. Velvet also formed her jacket and headpiece.

Similarly attired in dark blue dresses were the two bridesmaids - Misses Bernadine and Marcella Leffel of Colby, sisters of the groom. Attendants for the groom included Henry Leffel of Colby, a cousin of the groom as best man, and Frederick Krueger of Curtiss, a brother of the bride, and Eli Krueger of Marshfield, a cousin of the bride. Ushers were Harold Strade of Curtiss, a cousin of the bride, and Leo Leffel, another brother of the groom.

Completing the wedding party were Pamela Krueger, a sister of the bride, as flower girl and Keith Weller of Abbotsford, as ring bearer. Sequins trimmed the bodice of the floor-length white dress worn by the former.
