Meyers, Frances A. (14 MAR 1890 - 22 MAR 1941)

Mrs. Michael Meyers, 51, of Gilman, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, March 22, 1941, of heart disease.

Frances Agnes Wruk was born in Germany on March 14, 1890, and came to America in 1891 with her parents. She resided during the intervening years at Sobieski, Wis., Channing, Mich., Polley and Gilman. She was married to Michael Meyers on June 25, 1908 at Channing, Mich.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and father Thomas Wruk; one son Edward at Gilman; four daughters, Mrs. Nellie Brown, Stanley, Mrs. Pearl Kiermas, Chicago, Agnes and Verna at home; four brothers, Frank Wruk of Racine, Stanley, Phil and Ed of Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Bauher, Mrs. Angeline Kompka, Mrs. Pearl Kohr and Mrs. Vera Sziebl, Milwaukee, Wis.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter & Paul’s Church at Gilman on March 26th at ten o’clock, Rev. W. Kolman officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were George Mabal and Mark Magrason of Sheldon, Joseph Turek, John Kapsy and Hugh Smith of Gilman and John Kowalczyk of Polley.
